Mamma Mia is a song written and performed by ABBA that along with a number of other ever-popular songs was turned into a West End/Broadway musical back in 1999. Written by English playwright Catherine Johnson and composed by Benny Andersson and Bjorn, the play was translated onto film starring Meryl Streep and Colin Firth among other famous stars. Earlier this year, the musical became the 9th longest running Broadway musical of all time. On its international tour, the musical will make a stop-over in Dubai in January 2015.
